San Diego For Every Child

Families continuing to work in essential service fields and those struggling to make ends meet can now apply for funds to help cover the cost of child care and basic needs. These essential workers are the first-responders and front-line staff in this crisis and rely on courageous child care providers so they can continue to work. Your donation will help ensure local children have access to food assistance, childcare, and remote learning opportunities during these unprecedented times.

United Way of San Diego

As part of the greater San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund, the United Way of San Diego has created a San Diego Worker Assistance Initiative which provides flexible resources to individuals impacted by layoffs and reduced working hours implemented by employers. The Fund supports low- wage workers who need support for a limited but undetermined length of time. The money goes toward utilities and rent/mortgage payments.
American Red Cross of San Diego & Imperial Counties

The organization helps more than 3.6 million people across 10,000 square miles with urgent humanitarian relief in times of crisis. A couple of ways to help: a financial donation, or by donating blood at one of the organization’s blood drives. Both the San Diego Blood Bank and American Red Cross have been asking locals to consider donating blood to help fight a shortage amid the COVID-19 Crisis.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provides a “home-away-from- home” for families and the care that’s needed when their child is being treated for serious conditions at local hospitals. RMHC San Diego relies on donations like food items and cleaning products.
